What you are walking into
Farshore is a Rust-style survival server on a generated archipelago. You spawn on a coastline with empty hands. There is no starter kit and no tutorial, and the only thing standing between you and the next player is whatever you have built since the last wipe.
- Claim the groundLand is claimed with a tool cupboard — 48 blocks across, 64 up. Let its upkeep lapse and the protection drops with it.
- Walls that mean somethingEvery building material sits on a durability ladder from bare wood up to iron. Grind through with a tool, or spend raid charges and be quicker.
- Raid the radtownsAbandoned compounds, watchposts and a skeleton-haunted necropolis, each held by a garrison that will not let you loot it for free.
- Scarcity on purposeCopper and stone regrow slowly, so a good node is worth defending. Each island's climate pays out in different things entirely.
Farshore is in early playtest. Wipes are frequent, the population is small, and things break in public. If that sounds like a problem, this is not the server for you. If it sounds like the good part, come take something off someone.
